We offer a full range of in-house pressed parts, tooling design and tooling manufacture. With manufacturing capabilities of up to 250 tonnes we can assist with your one off or contractual requirements.

We are also very happy to assist you with any research and development needs you may have.


We are stockists of a wide range of  stainless steel and other Non-Ferrous and Ferrous products. We stock all standard grades, special grades and  finishes. We also offer a polished and coated finish to your particular requirement on request.




Our precision  rotary slitting     capabilities range from 0.3mm to 3.0mm thick and  6.0mm to 1250mm wide. All coils are produced to very tight tolerances giving an extremely accurate product. We can produce coils with a protective coating applied, giving a blemish free surface. We can manufacture coil sizes ranging from 5kg up to 5000kg. All coils are packed to suit your individual specific requirements.



Our cut to length line compliments the coil facility,  allowing us to decoil tight tolerance flat lengths up to 3000mm long,  ranging from

0.30mm to 3.0mm thick and 10mm to 1250mm wide. All cut lengths are produced and packed to tailor your needs.



Our modern bespoke edge dress facility 

encompasses the very latest in engineering technology, allowing us to offer all variances of edge conditioning.  This  includes edge rolling, complete

 edge dress and    de-burred edges. Our capabilities  range from 0.2mm to 3.0mm thick  and 6.0mm to 250mm wide. Finished coils can be made to any specific weight and size required.



We also offer a stainless steel sheet polishing service. These sheets can be circle polished or grit polished with 180, 240 or 320 grit and coated with poly film or separated with paper sheets to preserve the high quality polished finished we create. We undergo this process with state of the art Grindingmaster machines. Each sheet is checked and approved by the quality team to ensure of a good, high quality finish.


Nigel Mason

With 30 years in the steel industry, Nigel started Stainless Metal Solutions with a wealth of experience, contacts and knowledge. Nigel is the director of the company along with the production manager. He works close with the quality team to ensure that the products are of the highest quality before leaving the plant. 

Outside of work, Nigel enjoys cycling, walking and cooking.

Jake Mason

Having left Sixth Form with his A Levels, joining Stainless Metal Solutions was an obvious choice for Jake with all of the Mason family in the steel industry also. Son to Nigel, the pair work like clockwork in running the business. One of Jake's roles is logistics manager where he makes sure that the right things leave the works at the right time. Along side that, Jake is in charge of administration, purchasing and is part of the sales team. 

In his personal time, Jake enjoys playing PS4, seeing friends and looking after his pride and joy (his car!).
